All-loving and ever-living God,
you gave your servant Archbishop Oscar Romero
the courage to witness to the Gospel of Christ,
even to the point of giving his life
in the pursuit of justice.
Help us to love you,
to seek you with all our hearts,
and to rejoice in the resurrection victory,
over all oppression, of your beloved Christ,
living and reigning in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God for ever and ever.
