As a volunteer in Catholic schools you will help children and young people deepen their understanding of global justice.
By running inspiring assemblies and engaging workshops, you will tap into their natural compassion and sense of fairness and they will be excited about making a difference with CAFOD, part of Caritas International. Catholic schools give a warm welcome to our volunteers and you will be changing how children feel about being part of our global family for many years to come.
Training and shadowing opportunities will be provided to make sure you are well-prepared to visit schools.
All our schools volunteers are required to undergo a DBS criminal record check and safeguarding training.
You must be:
Free for a couple of days a week during school term time to visit Catholic schools in your area.
Free between the hours of 9am and 3pm.
