Jubilee Social Media and Support Volunteer

Interested in being part of a thriving, busy team where you can learn new skills, meet new people and be inspired by and be part of the work of CAFOD during a historic year?

The Jubilee year in 2025 is a landmark year for the Catholic community. Many Catholic schools throughout England and Wales are taking action to stand in solidarity with the world’s poorest communities. We want to support and celebrate what they are doing as “Pilgrims of Hope”.

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys social media, has an understanding of Catholic schools and is prepared to get stuck in with a range of administrative tasks to enable CAFOD to support schools during this time.

Activities will include:

  • Track and record engagement of CAFOD in schools found on social media and websites
    Respond to social media interactions.

  • Where necessary, follow up with schools to capture their stories of engagement with CAFOD to share.

  • Input data collected on the database (training available).

  • Offer general administrative support for Jubilee events to a very busy CAFOD Education section.

Details

At least one day a week, if not more! Ideally Tuesday, Wednesday if possible, or Thursday.
