Host a cozy Harvest Supper: As the autumn chill sets in, gather your parish for a warm and hearty meal. Organise a Harvest-themed supper featuring a variety of comforting dishes from around the world, such as Jollof Rice with its rich blend of tomatoes and spices, Chicken Adobo with its savory, tangy flavors, or an Aloo Gobi curry, packed with nutritious spices and vegetables. Quiz night for CAFOD: Who doesn't like some friendly competition? Gather your parish together for a lively quiz night! Test your parish's trivia knowledge, all whilst raising vital funds. Charge an entry fee per team and ask for donations on the night. You could even host a raffle on the night too! Throw a dance party: Energise your Gather Together event with a dance party! From salsa to line dancing, ballroom to Bollywood - celebrate the vibrant world of music and dance. You could even have a dancing competition, charging participants to enter, or for people to cast their winning vote. Enjoy a night of rhythm, celebration, and fundraising!
Organise a bake sale: Sweeten up your Gather Together event with a delicious bake sale. Invite parishioners to bake and donate their favourite treats and serve with coffee after Mass. From classic cakes and cupcakes to seasonal treats like spiced apple cakes and cinnamon buns, you can encourage donations or price up each item. You could even sell other homemade crafts or treats made by parishioners, such as handmade greeting cards or homemade chutney's and jams. To collect donations online, it's quick and easy to set up a JustGiving page and the money you've raised will be received by CAFOD immediately, meaning we can put your fundraising to work straight away.

Visit our contactless payments page to request a contactless machine for your event, and full guidance on how to set up and use your device.

You can collect donations offline by cash, cheque, or using a sponsorship form. You can also use the Harvest envelopes or pay in your fundraising online.
